Dark Horse Music Review

Yes, Nickelback fans, your favorite rock band is back three years after releasing All The Right Reasons which recieved multiplatinum status and well deserved praise from critics and fans. While the previous album gave a more sensitve streak of tracks such as Photograph, Far Away, and If Everyone Cared, this album strongly maintained their hard sounding reputation with tracks such as Something in Your Mouth, Burn It to the Ground, and Next Go Round.

Golf Ends on High Note

The Chargers’ golf season finally came to a close with the state tournament. Our own Jeff Hund made it to the state competition and took 57th place out of approximately 100 participants. When asked about the tournament, Hund replied, “It was a very tough course and all of the other players were quite talented. I played my best the entire season, and it finally paid off in the end. Making state was my goal, which I worked for through all my practice during the season.”

Video Game Club Update

On Wednesday, December 3rd, the Game Club will have a representative from Elmhurst College come to speak about game design and available careers in this field. With the help of John Smart and Ryan Trojanowski, the president of the club, the members have already been learning the different methods of designing their own games.

In addition to designing games, Game Club also plays games on PC, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo 64, and coming soon, the PlayStation 3.
