Golf Team Staying Hot

The Chargers Golf team got off to a great start this season with a tournament win.
The team won Aurora Christian’s Early Bird Scramble by one stroke. This was ACC’s first golf tournament win in 23 years, according to assistant coach Mr. Stallons. The Chargers soon thereafter took second place out of approcimately 20 teams in the Sandwich Tournament. The Chargers are expected to continue their great golf throughout the season, with captain Jeff Hund leading the team and sophomores Taylor Nelson and Ryan Harreld playing varsity as well. Coach Jim Parker is very proud of his golf team, saying that this is the best team he has had since he has been at Central.
