Athlete of the Month: Kelsey Bohr
Central Times: Where did you go to grade school?
Kelsey Bohr: Annunciation in Aurora.
CT: What has been the best part of high school for you?
KB: Senior year in general has been great.
CT: What do you think is the strongest point of your game?
KB: Our B libs and arabesques.
CT: What do you think is the weakest point of your game?
KB: When Stool (Chris Stuhlmaker) plays, we get weak in the knees…
CT: What has been the high-lights of the season for you so far?
KB: We have finally gotten fans to cheer along with us!
CT: What are your expectations for the rest of the year?
KB: Keep hitting our stunts and routines and, of course, we want the boys to do really well and go down state… That would be sweet!
CT: What are your plans for college?
KB: I’m going to Illinois State University to major in Special Education.
CT: What’s something about you that your fellow classmates at ACC probably don’t know?
KB: I sleep with a teddy bear that I got when I was three years old… And yes, I will be taking him to college!
CT: Any nicknames people have for you?
KB: My parents call me “Special K.”
CT: If you could bick a nickname for yourself— one you don’t already have— what would it be?
KB: Whiskers— ‘cause I’m quick like a cat!
