Mu Alpha Theta

Math is all around us even if we do not know it. Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to students who want to further their knowledge of math and understand how it surrounds us. It is led by President, Laura Sanders with help from Vice-president, Gabbie Galloway, Treasurer, Jessica Ramirez and Secretary, Stephanie Pogwizd. These leaders, along with the help of the other members and club moderator, Mr. Parker, are trying to receive national recognition from the High School National Math Honors Society for the first time in the club’s history. They are considering the possible purchase of official Mu Alpha Theta t-shirts and exploring couple of fundraisers. Fundraiser ideas include purchasing a vending machine that dispenses pencils, pens, notebooks and other school necessities, as well as, a math-tutoring service for any student. Mu Alpha Theta has a lot of new things planned for this year—which should make this year really fun for any math lover.
