Calling All Writers!

Take a look at the editors of the Central Times. What do all these kids have in common? They are all seniors. Many students won’t yet be able to understand the implications of this statement, but the reality is that most, if not all, of them are more busy than Santa Clause on Christmas Eve. What does this mean? They can’t do it alone, Chargers! They need your help. In between scribbling application essays, filling out scholarship forms, completing FAFSAs, visiting colleges, applying for summer jobs or internships, attempting to stay above water in AP classes, and finding a few last moments to spend with friends, it’s often difficult to crank out marvelous articles and newspaper editions for your enjoyment. Although the job usually gets done, it’s often a slow and time-consuming process that is in desperate need of helpful contribution. You don’t need to be an A+ English student; you don’t even need to be an official staff writer. You simply need to be willing to give a bit of your time to enhance our newspaper!
