A Tragic Love Story

Remember Me is a tragic love story, starring Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin. Pattinson plays Tyler Hawkins, a 21- year- old guy that’s dealing with a lot in his life. His brother committed suicide years before, his dad doesn’t have time for their family, and his little sister is being picked on at school. During the story, he deals with these problems by getting into fights to release his anger. Then he meets Allie Craig, played by Emile de Ravin, with whom he falls in love with. Allie, too, has problems of her own. When she was a little girl, she witnessed her mother’s murder on a subway platform, and she and her father have a strained relationship. Allie and Tyler’s relationship starts off great, but things get tough when she finds out he lied to her. It’s a very emotional movie, so I would recommend going to see it only if you appreciate touching movies. The acting was very good and contributed to the effect of the movie. The ending ties into historical events and adds even more drama and emotion. I would give this movie 3 out of 4 stars, because I am not a big fan of sad movies, but the acting redeemed it. It was a very moving drama and is perfect for anyone who is in the mood for a good cry.
