The Book of Eli

In this post-Apocalyptic film, thirty years after war ripped a hole in the sky where a drastically bright light, called the, “Big Flash” left many people blind, others severely burned, and the world a desolate wasteland, a man named Eli is called to a secret book hidden under rumble by a divine power. He is told to protect it and take it west so its use will be correctly interpreted. This happened right after the Big Flash and for the next thirty years he searched for its proper resting place in the west. He encounters thieves, rapists, and even cannibals who are just desperately trying to survive. It’s a cutthroat world were people kill others for the supplies they carry so that they may see tomorrow. Eli understanding his task will stop at nothing until his objective is fulfilled and humanity is safe once again.
